Using Windows Live Writer

I have decided to change up a little bit and begin giving Windows Live Writer a try for a while instead of BlogJet. BlogJet was running fine but it seems like Live Writer has really caught on and has quite a bit add-ons that are being developed.

It seems fairly straight forward with support for all of the major blogging engines such as Windows Live Spaces, SharePoint blogs, Blogger, LiveJournal, TypePad, WordPress, Community_Server, PBlogs.gr, JournalHome, the MetaWeblog API, the Movable Type API …Wordpress just happens to be my choice. Although, often I will use it in conjunction with sharepoint linked lists to schedule and mangage data whenever I need to do so.

So I will be giving it a run through in the next couple of weeks as I prepare to start blogging more frequently and on more topics…..additionally, I will be adding video to my blog which I am very excited about!
